JW Young 3 1/2" Fly Reel 8'5" For sale here is aFor sale here is a 3 1 2" fly reel made by JW Young for Carter & Co. Pattern 10B. Nice leaded finish. Solid and tight fixed check. Gear teeth and pawl still retain their sharpness. Slight wobble and a small amount of spindle play. Full length smooth brass foot. Ivorine handle in fine condition and spins freely. Spool retaining screw in excellent shape. Also has some rim rash and a ding. Reel foot measures 2. 7" and reel weighs 8. 3 oz.
