Gimenos works captures the beauty of calligraphy in an expression transcendent of the written form. Musing the charge behind a brushstroke, a trace, Gimeno arrives at a visual language uniquely born from fusing Catalan Modernism and Eastern philosophies of impermanence and embracing negative space.
