Payne 197 Fly Rod 7'6" 3/2 #5 8 For sale here is aA stunning EF Payne model 197 fly rod, 7'6", 3 piece, 2 tip. Listed on the hang tag as Model 197, 4 1 8 oz, Serial 1632. I think this would cast a #5 nicely. For condition, all I can say is WOW! WOW! Super Mint! I would guess this rod may have been lawn cast once, as there is a faint trace of a reel foot impression (that may have also been done at the factory to check the line up to the flat). Otherwise, there is no sign of use. No sign of hand
