Eye Stopper™ Cork Tree Trees There are records of itThe Eye Stopper Cork Tree (Phellodendron lavallei Longenecker) is a medium sized shade tree. It has a very aesthetically pleasing form, more narrow and upright in youth with the branches spreading and forming a rounded, open crown as it matures. The canopy is made up of pointed compound leaves that are glossy dark green in the spring and summer before turning a bright yellow in the fall. Its gray bark is also quite impressive in the winter landscape
