We talked a lot (while swimming around the reservoir) about how to achieve this without cliches of mermaids or romance or even literally depicting a figure. The design came together after thinking about Synchronicity II by The Police, a shield Kate Bush wore dressed as a knight, and medieval suns. This year I've
