EMIDIO PEPE Montepulciano d'Abruzzo "Branella" 2020 Chateau La Mission Haut Brion 13% Merlot and 2% CabernetWine Region: Abruzzo Italy Grape: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Tasting notes: The 2020 Montepulciano dAbruzzo Vecchie Vigne Branella is floral and dusty, with crushed stones, incense, dried roses, and mentholated freshness. Silky and expressive, it offers violet infused red fruits and a chalky concentration that coats the palate. Structured yet appealing, it finishes with a cranberry like bitterness.
