OBLIVIANS - Soul Food LP art punk Raw garage punk with brash

Raw garage punk with brash Australian vocals

Think Black Sabbath and Elias Hulk

Poguetry in Motion represents the different styles of Pogue songs: London Girl is as energetic as something like Sally MacLennane

It's this enduring dialectic that gives Wire their unique status as a long-established band that continues to forge ahead with original music: always unmistakably Wire but always reimagined and reframed with each successive project

This album shows the bands growth through its lyrics

OBLIVIANS - Soul Food LP art punk Raw garage punk with brashHighly recommended. This is as raw as it gets. Soul Food is rock reduced to the bare essentials, just vocals, guitar, drums, and an overwhelming atmosphere of hedonism. Production values are basically nonexistent, and all the instruments blend together into a thick haze, only emerging when there's a hook or riff that needs to be driven into your skull.
