Next come two frantic garage-soul cuts from a pair of super-obscure groups: 1906 & Company and Band of Gold while Rex Garvin & The Mighty Cravers' instrumental "Strange Happenings" slows things down to a monster shimmy with retro horror movie vibes

Their first release was the single ‘City Scenes’ on the new Propeller label

guitars slash

and live versions – some pretty primitively recorded – previously appeared on Norton’s revelatory "Grown Up Wrong" collection in the mid-'90s

you can now buy the soundtrack by Hildur Guðnadóttir and relive the drama in sound form

BABE RAINBOW - Today LP (colour vinyl) new wave Next come two frantic garage-soulIncludes d l code. Limited edition colour vinyl. With these hot days, I'm sure you're crying out for some blissed out, sun drenched psychedelia. Look no further than Babe Rainbow (surely the most neo psych name ever) who hail from Australia and make lovely, woozy, hippie dippie songs that have names like "Secret Enchanted Broccoli Forest" and "Peace Blossom Boogy". Third album is out now on Flightless.
