MICHAEL ROTHER - Flammende Herzen LP boogie and the guitar work on

and the guitar work on this album proves that Meg continues to be one of the finest young musicians working today

the resulting soundtrack is one of love and betrayal

The music's post punk sound bears resemblance both to early Death In June and his future project Sol Invictus and is as valid a document of 80’s Britain as anything by the Smiths

first is the worst

A difficult sound to describe

MICHAEL ROTHER - Flammende Herzen LP boogie and the guitar work onThere was great anticipation around the release of Flammende Herzen when it first emerged in 1977. People were eager to see what Michael Rother would get up to after Neu! had disbanded, and the inclusion of Cans Jaki Liebezeit also added to the intrigue. The resulting record didnt disappoint, hitting big with a combination of proggy composition, Krautrock invention and Motorik rhythm.
