Acquired from a private collection in Virginia

Susan Kliewer - The Hummingbird Kachina, Edition of 45 magento-71015 fading or damage"In the Hopi culture, girls are given Kachinas as gifts. As they grow up, they learn what each kachina represents and how they influence each pueblo. Girls wear their hair in distinctive whorls until marriage. I've always loved the unique style and wanted to sculpt a Hopi girl." Susan Kliewer
