The varnish is superb and the rod is constructed in a two up node pattern. The wraps are brown with yellow edges. It has an uplocking screw lock reel seat over a varnished walnut spacer. The grip is done in the western style and has a faint trace of hand soiling. This rod has a surprisingly sweet feeling
