"Jesus Gonna Be Here
cut by Kevin Gray
with NOTS rhythm warriors Meredith Lones on bass and Charlotte Watson on drums
Hellworms and currently as members of Jello Biafra’s Guantanamo School of Medicine
A comparison could be early Lou Reed but with a severe country twist
BIG THIEF - Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You 2LP shoegaze "Jesus Gonna Be HereAn excellent indie folk alt country release by some of the best to ever do the style. Production is incredibly clean and warm. Adrianne Lenker's songwriting is on point as always; abstract, precise, welcoming. Sounds and styles are eclectic, from the honky tonk of Spud Infinity, to the dreamy psych folk of the title track, to the shoegaze on Flower of Blood. Perfect for playing in the car on a trip to the lake beach river with friends.
