Like a lot of contemporary singer songwriters the songs are well constructed. Unlike a lot of contemporary singer songwriters the arrangements, particularly the instrumentation, is really original and well thought out. And perhaps most distinctively, the song's subject matters arent limited to matters of the heart. This is reminding me of Purple Mountains.
