Such complications could turn deadly
Combination formulations that include GLP-1 medications with other weight management or diabetes medications in a single delivery system are also being explored
It also lowers the risk of major cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, or death in adults with type 2 diabetes who also have heart disease, and lowers the risk of worsening kidney disease, kidney failure (end-stage kidney disease), and death due to cardiovascular disease in adults with type 2 diabetes who also have chronic kidney disease
