This condition mimics true hypoxia by increasing the intracellular reduced and oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH/NAD) ratio, thereby disrupting cellular redox homeostasis
These microthrombi obstruct capillaries, causing local blood flow interruption and forming a no-flow phenomenon, resulting in inadequate blood and nutrient supply to renal tissue and further exacerbating cellular hypoxia injury [44, 45]

In astudyinvolving rats, BPC-157 was administered in doses of 0, 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 micrograms/mL over 24 hours. Results showed that the 0.5 microgram/mL dose significantly increased growth hormone expression from day 1 to day 3, while lower doses also had similar effects. The study concluded that BPC-157 supplementation led to increased up-regulation of growth hormone in a dose and time-dependent manner
