After a natural spontaneous fermentation of two weeks, the wine ferments in French oak barrels, where it matures for 38 months. This is followed by a minimum bottle aging of 6 months. The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in the most prestigious wine regions of Montalcino. The vineyards are located at altitudes of 175 to 500 meters above sea level. The biodiversity found here results in a wine
