Description

It's maybe not a wine to be served too early but in two or three years after the disgorgement

While Marc Perrin may be the more experienced wine guy in the Pitt-Perrin equation

Le Village is not a place but a brand name to identify the cuvée

and slightly reductive/flinty

is still widespread in the Kaiserstuhl

2018 Fass No. IV trocken Weingut G.A. Heinrich It's maybe not a wineFor the red wine cuve Fass N IV, only hand picked grapes from typical Wrttemberg grape varieties are used: Lemberger for spice and structure and Pinot Noir for the fine fruit aroma and the elegant overall impression. The cuve matures for almost 24 months in used French oak barriques. Fine cool fruit of dark berries, elegant and juicy in expression. Goes well with pork, lamb and mushroom dishes, as well as with snacks.
