It has one of the most taxing Ward costs ever asking whoever wishes ill upon the Dark Lord to sacrifice a legendary artifact or creature

The card draw is all over the place, and while most of it is really good, some of them are less powerful in the deck, like Dark-Dweller Oracle in a deck with few creatures to sacrifice

Being so old it is not exactly a clearly written card

Im sure that making competitive Constructed more accessible and relatable to the large and mostly exclusive Commander audience is a holy grail for decision-makers at WotC

Now I'll admit, I never actually read the Lorwyn and Shadowmoor books, so looking up story synopsis now I feel like I got this bit wrong, but when the sets were coming out I saw her as the main character of the block's plot
