Why is it so expensive

Rivals of Ixalan (2018) brought a rare and a mythic rare, so both have a lot of potential, but are probably too hard to use to make it in Standard

I also don't like that this card makes 2/1s which trade down to 1/1s

There are a lot of builds that synergize, including every Orzhov payoff youd like, but now with card draw and counterspells

It played decently in War of the Spark Limited, but this is Commander, and single large vanilla creatures just dont scale well to a multiplayer format
