it's bisque fired to approximately 1915 degrees Fahrenheit

Then the pumpkin is dried for a day or so under plastic under firm, then the stem is attached and placed back under plastic until dry (approximately 1 week). The pumpkin is then painted with underglaze to achieve the bright orange color. Once bone dry, these are bisque fired to approximately 1915 degrees Fahrenheit, then glazed and fired a second time to
