Robinson's Progressive Table Book, 1862, with Wonderful Hand-colored Navajo and the place setting inThis is a total charmer of an old school book teaching counting, adding, multiplication, etc, with wonderful graphics throughout: five pears here, seven bee hives there; two bunnies, nine chairs, one excellent hand held abacus! (That abacus alone sold me on this.) A very good many of them were carefully hand colored, as are a number of half page engravings, with the color much better in hand than in my photos. I've had one or two similar to this over
