Leavers are very large, fresh green, flowers are also large, bowl shaped, creamy white produced in June. Cone shaped purple red fruits are then produced. The tree can eventually attain a height of perhaps 8 12 meters and makes a glorious solitary specimen. Best grown in a fertile, permeable acid to neutral soil.
