There is not much out there about Blouch except a few sales of work at auction (Garth's

7 1/2" x 5 7/16" x 1 1/2" and in very good condition

cuffs and fishing line are etched into exposed grey stone

but I like how they have faded in quite a painterly way

so densely packed with letters pointing forward and backward in an arrangement that occasionally follows alphabetic logic but more often veers away from it

Fun, and an homage to cleanliness if I ever saw one, as well as a wonderful embodiment of the fine art of shop window display. Stamped what looks like J. O Dubui Victoriaville, Quebec at lower left.
