Description

this very fine Northwest Coast Salish tightly coiled lidded basket dates I believe from the late 19th or early 20th century

It seems likely that this haunting work is a Holocaust portrayal

This wonderful little solid brass duck lives most happily on a desk

with several little portraits of "girl" combined with "man"

and the arches and circles and tall legs on whatever it is the two at right are leaning against

Mary Baker's Cows and Ducks, Crayon Drawing, 1917 chips canister this very fine Northwest CoastThis is one of several crayon drawings done by a Mary Baker, a couple of them signed, and one dated 1917, surely done when miss Mary was in grade school. I think this cow couple is pretty special, looking like he's about to nuzzle her ears, and then this great fence around them and two great brown ducks marching along below. Not quite sure what the yellow form is at left, maybe a feeder? 8 1 4" x 5 15 16" and in very good condition.
