It is similar in leaf shape to both the Full Moon Maple and the Autumn moon but has a greater display of colors throughout the seasons. In spring the leaves emerge with an orange red blush turning to a summer leaf color that is very similar to A. s. Aureum or A. s. Autumn Moon. Moonrise can handle the heat better than other Acer shirasawanums. Very nice and
