1960s Bitossi Rosenthal Netter vase makes me think of when the grass first starts to turn green after the long winter
Surface cracking and wear to the clay and to the black of the engraved numbers as evident
Marvelous down to every detail-- those hats
was beautifully made by hand and signed by Andersen Studio in Boothbay Maine
I have not taken it apart but it appears to me that it was done on the inside cover of an old school geography book
Gorgeous Large c. 1900 American Splint Basket in Best Old Paint (Inside and Out) Dybdahl salt dish 1960s Bitossi Rosenthal Netter vaseI'm always eyeing old painted splint baskets, and this is the one I've been waiting for, just gorgeous, painted inside and outside and underneath too, and in what is pretty much perfect antique condition. I think the paint could be described as sort of a creamy mustard like mustard mixed with mayonnaise:) From the estate of the late Charles Cotterill, an avid collector and former mayor of Maysville, Kentucky. Approx 15 3 4" in diameter x 6 1 2" tall
