Late 19th/early 20th century I believe and while these show some age they remain quite lovely

and a bit taller on one side than the other

red and black ink with ink wash or watercolor

This vase--stamped 4010 on the bottom--is in very good vintage condition

with some nice irregularity to the form and weaving original to its making

They're both terrific, made of three pieces of wood, with tiny nails showing on the sides. With leather ears, and lots of years, and I especially love the white back feet and tip of the tail. 4 1 2" l x 3 1 4" t x 1 1 8" w and in very good condition, sturdy and steady on his feet.
