If you are a fan of Joe's work (as I am) then you'll love this little reel - classically inspired but with modern precison
Leonard DF50 Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #6 Salmon and Steelhead Rods On the wrap flat isA nice Leonard DF50 fly rod, 8' 3 piece, 2 tip for a #6 line. All original and an excellent example of the Leonard Rod Company artistry at that period. Medium, very smooth action. Good ferrule fits. Hand brushed finish. Serial #2549. Black stripping guide and black snake guides with slight amount of brassing inside the guide. This indicates very little use. Wraps are of course red with green and red edges at the keeper and male ferrule. 12 cork cigar
