Laphroaig Single Cask #1079 2011 Oloroso Sherry Series 53% 15 Year Old One of the first releasesDrawn from a single Oloroso sherry cask laid down in 2011 and bottled on 1st December 2024, this is the 4th and final release of the 2024 Distillery Team Sherry Series from Laphroaig. Whisky from cask #1079 has the signature medicinal peat character of this iconic Islay distillery, balanced by over a decade of Oloroso influence. Expect notes of dried and stone fruits, spice, nuts, chocolate all wrapped up in a smoky peat that is defiantly Laphroaig.
